Oluwasanmi is a Founding Partner at the firm and heads the Firm’s Advisory and Consulting Unit. He is a consummate legal practitioner whose expertise straddles Energy law, Antitrust law, Consumer Protection law, Economic law, Labour and Employment law, Human Rights law, Criminal Law, and Election Petition law.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Madonna University, Okija, and was duly admitted into the Nigerian Bar afterwards. He later proceeded to obtain his Master’s degree from the prestigious Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti where he graduated with a distinction, and was as an award recipient, with a bent for Energy law, Anti-competition law, and Economic law.
He regularly advises on Mergers and Acquisitions, Counterfactual Analysis in Competition law, Industrial relations, Consumer Protection and Regulatory Compliances. He was on the Technical Working Committee that served as an official rapporteur to the 2014 National Conference, and worked on the Confab Report. He was also on the Working Group that mediated between the Federal Government and the Legislature on the 2015 Constitutional Amendment impasse, during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime, and drafted the terms of settlement to resolve the bind before the Supreme Court. He was a sub-member of the INEC Legal Consortium during Professor Attahiru Jega’s two-term tenure as the INEC Chairman.
